Well, with spring approaching I've been busy working on a new spring series. I've been invited to show my pieces for a Big Brothers & Big Sisters Auction in Portland, Maine. And I've been asked to show my work at a gallery in Surf City, NJ. Therefore, I've been working, working, working! Every time I finish one of these I want to be close my eyes and time travel back to the beach. I can't wait for our summer vacation to Ogunquit, Maine. Anyhow, I hope they take you out of this cold weather and back to sunny warm days. Happy viewing! Summer DaysSun. Fun. Young.

I finally finished my first mixed media on reclaimed wood. Very excited to share. I'm calling it 'lively lives.' The neat thing about every buoy is that it represents a fisherman's family.
This is a lobster shack found in York, Maine. I photographed it a couple of years ago. |
